Terms of Service

1. General

This website is owned and operated by Mcut Factory ("we", "us", "our"). By using our Service, you confirm that you are legally able to enter into binding contracts in your jurisdiction and that you are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction.

2. User Accounts

Some features (including purchases and order history) require an account. We use Google Firebase Authentication to manage user sign-in and sessions. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. We may terminate or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

Account data (name, email, profile photo) is stored in Firebase and used to provide the Service. You may edit or delete your account data by signing in and updating your profile or by contacting us; deletion requests will be processed according to applicable law and our data retention practices.

3. Payments and Orders

All payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store full payment card details on our systems. We create server-authoritative order snapshots at the time an order is created to ensure reconciliation between our records and Razorpay's responses. Our post-verify server endpoint performs idempotent, operational tasks (e.g., sending admin notifications, creating invoices) and is separate from immediate payment processing.

By placing an order, you authorize us to use the information you provide (shipping address, contact phone, uploaded designs) to fulfil the order and to share necessary details with partners (carriers, payment processors) required to complete delivery.

4. Assets & Custom Designs

If you upload custom designs, we will store those assets in Sanity (or a designated asset store) and reference them in order records. We avoid saving large binary data directly into Firestore; instead we store stable asset URLs. Uploaded files may be included in internal operational notifications to facilitate fulfilment.

5. Notifications and Operational Tools

We use Telegram to send internal order notifications to our team and to attach design assets when necessary. These notifications are internal and operational only — they are not used for marketing.

6. Cookies and Site Functionality

We use cookies and local storage to provide sessions, cart persistence, and essential site functionality. Third-party services such as Firebase and Razorpay may set their own cookies when interacting with their domains; those cookies are governed by the third parties' policies.

7. Limitation of Liability and Governing Law

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to the Service is limited. These Terms are governed by the laws of India and disputes will be resolved in the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
